We are happy to share some valuable new functionality coming this week, with our final release of 2024.
Operating Days
This new feature helps you to take control of your delivery calendar in Hitrak.
With Operating Days, you can define the working days for each region, and create calendar events for public holidays and other exceptions to standard operations.
The calendar is factored into system logic for schedule-based run allocation and used in the calculation of key delivery metrics, providing you with more accurate scheduling, DIFOT and Average Delivery Time results.
Operating Days will be available in the Administration menu following the release. Your standard working days will be set up based on the information you've provided, but Calendar events will need to be created.
We've further improved your ability to find and analyse data in Hitrak, with significant updates to the Run search page, a powerful new tool for extracting on-screen search results, and more.
Dispatch Group/Region Filters
New fields on the Dashboard, Dispatch Board and Driver Runs pages help you to drill further into consignment activity, by Sending and/or Receiving location.
On the Dashboard, the From and To fields allow filtering by one or moreDispatch Groups.
For Dispatch Board and Run search, the From and To fields allow filtering by one or moreRegions, in addition to the existing Dispatch Group field.
Search page Extracts
The consignment Search page Extract function means you can quickly and easily create custom reports in Hitrak, with a csv download of the data filtered on screen. This feature also enables the extraction of data from Dashboard widgets, allowing further analysis of DIFOT, Customer Satisfaction and other chart results.

Run Search Enhancements
Operators handling a large number of runs will find the search page much more flexible, thanks to new filters and sorting capability.
A summary of consignment and freight totals has also been added, providing an overview of Run data in the search page.
Comprehensive Freight Quotes
Quotes generated in Freightmaster now give your customers a complete picture of consignment costs, with the incorporation of Delivery Extras and FAF.
Included and On Request Extras can be selected when creating a quote, with their charges provided in a detailed breakdown along with the Freight and FAF.
